it's my last chance to ride at meadows until april. i'll be at timberline every weekend with the family. looking on the webcam, it's snowin and blowin so i'll probably go for it unless the kid is sicker than he is right now and has to stay home (runny nose).
the other consideration is that i have to be back in pdx by 2:30 to go to the airport so i'm a little bummed about finally getting back and having to go for it for 3 hours and head home. if i wait, it will undoubtedly be spring skiing conditions, which is fine, too.
i've actually talked myself into some uncertainty over the past couple hours but the webcam is pushing me back into it. i'm just hoping the boy doesn't torpedo it for both our sakes.

i'm packed and ready. all i need is a reasonably healthy kid to wake up tomorrow.
just perusing the bachelor site. i can't believe it's $96 for a lift ticket. is it still going to be $96 on march 31?

I’ll be at meadows tomorrow. Hopefully the temps stay down.

One thing I've learned over the past few years of being a nutless little waffly bitch is to just STFU and go do the thing I'm waffling about.
Occasionally that results in not catching the fish or not slaying pow or taking too long to install my own roof, but as long as no one died or got badly injured physically or financially, it was always the right decision.

i usually go if i have the chance. the 25mph average winds and gusts to 50 early this morning aren't inspiring but i'm up and packed and ready.

It is too nice out to work all day. Gonna have to take the opportunity to cut out early and ski a sunset session. Only 2 night ski sessions left for this season at Timberline.

only 2 lifts open for some time. then ss, then heather in time to get two laps 1/2 moon bowl in heavy pow. hit the rope drop perfectly. good day, 12 runs, longer lines than i would have liked, wish i could have seen more of the mountain. everything felt like home, but like i was coming back after 5 more years of kid raising school. a little sad a little happy about the time that has passed. asi es la vida

Speaking of Big Wave Challenge, Jonesy and I met the owner of Elevated Surfcraft this past week while having lunch at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint in Driggs.
See http://www.elevatedsurfcraft.com/
Gave him some of my Durban Poison
Nice guy - he's gonna be at Mt B for the BWC in his short bus (see links) with all kinds of demos
