Anyone have any beta on snowpack at 7 – 9K level? I prefer to take my touring setup but I should really take the rock skis and grind ‘em up good.

I was up around 7-8k on both adams and hood this past weekend...hiking boots would be my footwear of choice, but if you are looking for a shark encounter then rock skis it is!
