OP - $5k is a steal, jump on this. I would have asked at least $6k.

Not likely. There are a lot of dudes looking for this ski, literally for years, that have been around a lot longer than you have. Keep an eye on CL.

Why is this version better? Serious question. The BG has always looked interesting but the new asymmetric design does not intrigue me. What is the best vintage if you like to drive your tips? What year should I be looking for?

    What makes the supergoat bettah?

I may sell my 191 BGs tour layup mounted with sollyfit plates and currently wearing FT12 clamps. What would price police say?

Its not "better", but the Supergoat will be able to charge harder.

I bought some 191 BG tours a few months ago, with Jesters, for $350 shipped. They are in great shape, one mount, no coreshots or topsheet chips.

much like the 186 became the 184 after chopping 2cm off the tails, did the 191 become the 189 the same way?

serious question. I skied the 189 and can't imagine wanting a longer ski but I"m a shitty skier so YMMV obviously.

She sent it to him after she asked for ski advice and he told her what she'd need to provide in exchange.

I will never part with my 191s - no way in hell... I am sure the new Billy gets it done, but the changes that were made once the 189 version was introduced was to make it a better all around performing ski (more of a quiver of one ski where as the 191 is a quiver ski)... The 191 works fine on the groomed, but I have yet to find a better pure POW ski and crud buster that is a breeze to ski... The tip of the 191 is so Fing loose and surfy and at 6'4" and 205 lbs I have never buried the tip...!
