    Boiler plate crust up at the Asulkan Hut this morning. At 9am was just starting to get boot penetration. Didn't hang around waiting for it to turn breakable. The ski out was ok except for the hard debris in the mousetrap where the side walls have slid. If you want soft snow look for the highest, shadiest, slopes.

    Can't remember if this is in here but this application affects alot of really accessed touring, sled skiing, snowmobiling etc. The tenure application by this heli ski company will definitely punch this terrain much harder. As I'm told by friends in the area this isn't great for them. I personally haven't been down there. Negative responses appreciated as per them.
