Alpine lake/Stream fishing in Colorado
Hey guys,
Looking to get one more backpacking/fishing trip in this year. I'm looking for some new locations to head to. I'm not looking for specifics, but general areas where I could bag some stream fishing, lakes, or anything up high. Thanks in advance!

Just go to the same place you went when you asked this question before.
Or you could fuck off and die in a fire.

They sell maps at the store, the blue things on there are lakes, usually have a stream going to/ from them. Pick one

Local favorite is a fly called the Bus Ticket. Ask for them at any of the shops on the valley.

Clear Creek has been good recently. Lots of action.

Hot flies are the Traffic Jam, Weekend Warrior, and Lazy Fucker. All of the shops on the Front Range will have these patterns. They might be in the back room though. Gotta ask for them.

His post was the equivalent of saying that the wrod has been skiing well and asking if his skis have a left and right. My answer was appropriate.
Send me an address, birdfucker. I’d like to send you some stickers and a coozie. No funny business, just a care package. You’ve earned it.

take a $20, rip it into 1/8" strips, tie it as a clouser minnow (#8s work well). Great in the roaring fork. $50s work better, $100s bring in the hogs.

Well this thread deteriorated quickly. Another prime example of why I am so happy to have left Colorado.
