To add to gramboh, if you hanker for hard snow skiing, Norquay is the East in the West. 1200-1500 skiable vert for any given run and usually eastern style. They do groom well, though. You can buy tickets by the hour as well.
Have fun and welcome to our backyard. Splitting your days as suggested with SSV and LL sandwiching The Horse is a good idea.

Pano official opening this weekend and Taynton will be open. My kid is patrolling this winter and said it is really good.
Backcountry in the Invermere area has been very nice the last few weeks also.

We had a big inversion today too. It was awesome. Looks like softer snow for LL than what we had but you can't beat plus 2 in early december

Last weekend at Cirque Peak area on the parkway. Heading there again tomorrow for shits and giggles.
Josh day one on a split was having some fun!
Kaitlin loving life.
Vivian enjoying the creamy-ness.
Conditions were bomber where we skied. 1.3m snowpack at the top of treeline. No results on an extended column. A crust at 30cm, and the halloween crust was down at 90cm.
Sunday going to try to hit Louise if anyone else is heading there.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Planning on hitting SSV, LL, KH, and Revy over Christmas and wanted some advice. Only planning on bringing one pair of skis- either Moment Bibby Tour or BGs, both mounted with Wardens. Which skis would you bring?

100mm under foot is average for around here.

Bibby Tours are same width as Billygoats, correct? Then if you want a stiffer more stable ski in firm conditions, the BG, unless you prefer to get jibby and spinny in firm conditions, then BT. Both LL and KH, and somewhat Revy are quite open so you can let your BGs run. I ski BGs FWIW.

Can't tell if serious. I have Cochise that I could bring...
Yep, both are the same width. Only hesitation with the BGs is that I haven't skied them before and I'm hesitant to bring them for a 10 day trip without trying them out first. However, with all the love they get on here I'm sure I'd get along with them fine. Decisions decisions...

That was my original thought but I have never seen the ice that clear up there!
