It's not that some people don't absolutely deserve to die (I'd actually prefer a lifetime of torture for that^^ guy, but I digress), it's that the justice system is imperfect and sentences innocent people to death with frightening frequency. The list of people exonerated from death row is up to 165 people.

...one that Texas executed that was probably innocent. Part of the evidence that decided death instead of life in prison, was that an expert said Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin posters were bad.

In many states, prosecutors are incentivized to seek the death penalty even if unwarranted because it gives them what's called a death-qualified jury -- they're allowed to kick anybody off the jury who's against the death penalty. That eliminates more minority jurors, etc.</polyass>

While I might agree with you on capital punishment, you still probably want to take Coach Gundy's advice and get your facts straight.

    Well said.

Just study the list of countries who still have death penalty.. it's some pretty embarrassing company to keep.

I agree with that, but dragging him around behind a pickup for a while might be a good alternative to a death sentence.

Not to start the day off on a sour note but.....

Today we have two lovely ladies who are able to reproduce at will and by the grace of God. Do all those prolife/anti-abortion people really think this is preferable to free birth control, the morning after pill or an abortion?

Oh... and the irony of the filthy house linked story is that a "Mother's Day" ad was running prior the the video about the poor excuse of a mother. It truly is a sick sad world.

^ I think the answer to that is self evident based on the thousand of kids the US currently has in concentration camps

Unless the father(s) of those children were actively seeking custody and/or visitation plus reporting the children's living conditions maybe they need to be charged with neglect, also.

I mean, if we are going to require girls/women that become pregnant to become mothers shouldnt the same apply to boys/men who impregnate girls/women?
