FUCK! First saw SD at the Palace Theater in Waterbury CT in 1974. Sat beside Bryan Adams drummer a couple of months ago coming back from Yurp, and we both remembered that show - even them, superb production and presentation. Have every album on vinyl, cassette, CD, SACD, DVD etc. Fuck.

Saw them last summer and while Becker made some very strange comments about the local area, as always, they were the consumate professionals.

Yes, Thank you Walter - RIP.

This one hit me hard. My band in the '80s covered a lot of SD material. Such cool music, super fun to play and very hard to play well. Not sure we ever did it well, but there were moments. 2nd favorite band ever, close to a tie for 1st with Feat.

Respect. Their shit is deceptively hard. A musician's band indeed.

Their lineup of guitar players over the years was ridiculous.

I feel very fortunate to have experienced Steely Dan live, twice in the 90's at Fiddlers Green
