She heard you. Wife is now talking a 3 night stay in Canmore. She's pissed that I nixed Glacier NP through
reasoned logistical reality and want's to do the glacier 3 hour bus tour. Bucket list item as I read her. I've been on a glacier, ignorant and unroped and survived somehow so no big for me except it's the cost of a pair of Intuitions. I should probably look at AARP for trip reports and beta but..........Anyone?
She also want's to see a griz.A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.

When I was there in June we saw six grizzlies (two sows with two cubs each) at the Lake Louise ski area from the chairlift.
Here are some of my photos from the trip, Might give you some ideas for what to see while you're there:

Sweet pics. Thanks. Way to see the bears. Walking around. At a distance.

Glaciers, Going to the Sun road, now closed from Apgar to the summit. Evacuations in place. Only access is from east side at the moment

On the road to Banff and we stayed in Sandpoint Id in a little cabin at the Talus Rock Retreat. A touchy/feely newage place. 120 sq ft. $124. It rained overnight and the tin roof over the bathroom leaked so we got a $100 discount. Don't be fooled. A "tiny house" is really a brand new shack. We laughed and had a good breakfast.
