"Skiers" who drink alcohol on the slopes
I'm hoping no one here does this. Talk about a bad idea. Just reckless, selfish, and dangerous. Save the drinking for aprés.

Who said anything about getting loaded? I might have a shot or two of Üllr, but thats about it.

so it's better you're driving your car with a shot or 2 than skiing? idk
I don't get drunk and ski either because it seems very stupid. I might cruise groomers with a sub-DUI BAC though if it's that kinda day w/friends or whatnot.
I won't drink in the BC until they start making carbon fiber ultralight beers

I drink my beer right in the middle of a groomer, preferably below a blind rollover.

I'm fine with someone having a couple of brews as long as the stay under their limit both in the booze and the skiing.
Only place I'm more strict about shit is in the backcountry. A beer at the summit? Fine.
But I've had falling outs because I didn't want to start a tour with a friend sparking a J. I don't care how much weed you smoke and how much "it doesn't effect your decision making". It does from my perspective and that's all that matters.

I only tour sober, unless I am on LSD in which case I tour on that. It can get confusing measuring slope angles but I'm usually able to sort it out.

Straight up blotter on the ride up, Firewater in the parking lot to take the edge off. All pupils by 10am in time for BC route finding and resort crowd weaving.
The only way to do it.
