Paging Teleee, 2Funky, and other mags that fished with me before.

    Sold!!!!

Next time you come down, it will be grouper and sharks instead of Snook and Trout.
Or maybe we'll just go really fast and have some boat drinks.

Awesome man! Had a great time, even though the weather didn't cooperate. Next time I'm down that way, family is asking for another Florida trip, I will for sure hit you up!
    Pics of new ride?

I would love to see you throwing a fly off the back of the Intrepid.
    That would crack me up.

I bet that boat doesn't go fast at all.

    Nice looking rig!

    Thanks,
55 mph isn't as fast as you would think. It is scary fast. at 50+ GPH though, you back down due to expense, and not fear. It is about a 1 to 1 ratio at those speeds. Super fun on a nice flat day though.

It has a stepped hull, so at about 4100 rpms, you actually ride on a pocket of air under the rear half of the hull. More efficient than other designs, but a weird felling for sure.

Well, as you know I have done dumber things! Maybe we should run that thing down to the Keys next spring for tarpon season.

Boca Grande is closer, and I actually catch Tarpon there.

Maybe a trip to Boca is in the cards for next spring - still have to cast a fly off that beast though

Gonna be interesting bringing them to the boat. The sides are super high. I think you could stand on the back platforms. Could get interesting if a shark decides to make an appearance. May be best to hope for a close up break off.

Well given my tarpon luck, i doubt we have to worry about actually landing one.

It isn't keeping me up at night, that's for sure. Worry about it when it happens I guess.
