SkiBig3 specializes in providing a full destination visitor experience, from reservation to guided experiences across our three unique ski resorts; Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt. Norquay. We are seeking a leader that can guide, support and mentor our team of highly skilled and experienced ski instructor-guides as they provide life changing moments for our guests. SkiBig3 operates an intermediate and advance level snow school with emphasis on providing guided on-mountain experiences. This unique opportunity allows collaboration with Snow School leaders from the three ski areas, while showcasing close to 8000 acres of skiable terrain to our visitors.

Summary Description / Objectives:

Senior management position providing strategic leadership and management of SkiBig3 Operations.
The Director of Operations along with the General Manager, Acconting Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Managers make up the SkiBig3 leadership team.
Priorities include development of processes and systems to improve internal communications and operating efficiencies.
Accounting team leadership
Work with GM and resort leads to develop annual plan & budget for SkiBig3
Oversee the reporting managers and departments with a focus on providing the best possible guest experience, while increasing SkiBig3 and partner ski areas’ revenues.
Create and excute integrated annual operational plans and budgets for admin/HR, retail, rental, snow school
Stragetic rental and retail plans that are integrated with the sales and marketing plans.
Strategic IT planning with sound execution ensuring systems are as friction free as possible, PCI compliant and integrated. Including, hardware and software; accounting, ticketing, rental, retail, snow school, wifi etc. Work with resorts and department managers on specific needs.

Oversee departments and functions including:
Office Administration – HR and payroll
SkiBig3 Adventure Hub
SkiBig3 Snow School/Guided Adventures
Guest Experience
Information Technologies (IT)
Through the Accounting Manager, ensure the effective and efficient management of the accounting team including annual planning process, budget, monthly and annual financial reporting
Regular assessment and review of systems and processes

Experience in senior leadership positions
Tourism background a plus
Excellent organizational skills

Ability to multiple project at the same time
Manage outside vendors
