    Crankworx EWS pics

I took the day off of riding bikes yesterday to watch some other people ride bikes and do it much better than I do.

Here's a few pics from the first 3 stages of the Whistler EWS

It hadn't rained in over a month. The dirt on stage 1 looked absolutely perfect but the rest of the stages were still super dry and dusty.

Mark Scott looking like he's in the pain cave here but held on to finish 3rd

At the end of 3 stages Sam was up but only by half a second on Jesse

Jesse crushed the last 2 stages to take 1st place

    Great shots.

    Thanks for sharing them....

The body position on the last shot of Jesse is awesome... ONly time I'd be in that position is if my stem was crushing my adams apple in a massive eff up.

Thanks! That log had a really weird bump in it that was bucking some people really badly. A few of the pro women that came down just before almost got tossed OTB. Most of the dudes were scrubbing it pretty hard but a few sent it deep to flat.

I've got a 5d3. Pretty happy with it but seeing some of those PB pics from A9s has me lusting over one of those.

Yep... I'm seriously contemplating an A6500 at some point here soon. I just bought an A6000 to mess with on rides that I don't feel like lugging my 80D around. Maybe it'll help convince me.

Last shot of Jesse is good because me (well you can barely see the top of my head lol) and a couple buddies are in the background haha. That log jump isn't much but it's interesting to see how they all did it differently

Watched wizards burial ground at that steep rock /rooted chute like 2/3 down, was crazy to see how much faster Jesse was through that one part

    No love for the girls?

I have had the biggest crush on Katy Winton for a minute now.

Shots 2 and 4 are ladies but I'm not sure who they are.

I rode stage 3 last night after work. Which was probably a poor choice but I hadn't ridden that trail in a while. It sucks but man it sucks really bad right now. I can't imagine racing down that. 6" of blown out dust, deep ruts and lose baby heads. I've heard that trail is really fun in good conditions but I've yet to see it.
