It's important to be passionate about something. Better then hanging out in Charlottesville.

And those ^^ are the pussies cuz the really core porters would do the whole expedition barefoot including the slushy parts so they could sell the footwear as new when the expedition was over

But in order to do that kind of shit you have to be barefoot from day 1 out of the womb which isn't anybody reading this drivel

People have a hoot when I open their beer with the bottle opener I leave soaking in a bucket of dog shit, motor oil, cigarette butts, gum, and homeless junkie urine.

There's so many better ways to open a beer than with the bottom of your shoe.

2nd on the reefs. I swear by them, and not just the fannings. Never broke on me, but I have worn the tread off of them after a couple years of heavy use and I tossed them. Great choice.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

If you want a flip flop, these have a nice footbed and arch support.

tump lines. pretty awesome for the right load on the right terrain actually.

the older, "shittier" Reefs are better than the fannings.

Offos if you have a high arch. Can walk miles in them. Don't win any fashion shoes but the best sandals I've owned. Better comfort and durability than olukai and reef.

WAS awesome. Since Wolverine bought out Chaco, I've had gotten no love from their warranty department. Luckily the local shoe repair guy helped me out. They are still the best flips out there. Reefs can't touch their footbed, support, and sole options. And I was a Reef guy for a long time. Have 3 pairs of Chaco flops over the past 15 years, all three still functional, nothing else compares.

    Flip flop curiosity

Very curious as to what you all are seeking in a flip flop while traveling. I happen to love them and I'd like to get different perspectives on the pro's and con's. Looking forward to hearing from you all!

one point that was missed earlier - if it's got a heel strap it's not a "flipflop". the problem with all of these no toe foot wear is catching the piece in front of the strap. the ass just follows, it depends on your foot strength. aside from water, of course, that'll suck the flipflop off.

I guess I should have said “unless you need arch support or are on a budget”. They are awesome without the arch support for me.
