the summit hotel is a totally fine place to stay up there... 5 min commute and the room is passable. Bring food, not sure about that restaurant.

I won't be attending this year..... so rip some seriously good and deep turns for me!

Commonwealth is more than fine, but pricey. Aardvark is legit but not open early or late. Pizza joint is great but at some point you get sick of eating pizza. Chevron tamales are the only thing worth eating out of their hot case. Lee's hot case is okay. Both coffee spots are good, the hand dipped corndogs in the parking lot of Lee's are sweet. But the pancake house? I'd eat resort food before that...

Just pick up some distillate and you can put that shit in anything, even straight in the mouth. I honestly only ever use concentrates when I indugle (dont currently, but used to only buy them before and after I moved.)

WA state driving advise (advice, fuck I don't know...) requested. I've got 3 options for Rossland to Alpental:
    - 395 to 90 (6hr 1 min)
    - 25/2/283/90 (5hr 47 min)
    - 25 to 90 (5hr 55 min)

Since they're all the same basically, and I'm going to be in a hurry (don't worry, I speed all time anyway) wondering what the collective says.

Right now plan is to ski Red Feb 1 (got family and buddies there I really have to see), then mach it to Alpy apres ski Feb 1. This could change if the skiing at Red sucks.

Oh, shit have to add this very sad bit of news. Due to time restraints, it looks as if I may have to forgo the bacon meister apron again this year. It's sketchy bringing the meat across the border and unfortunately I'm not going to have time to go through Pike Place (or seattle) for meat pick up. I will keep my eyes open once into your country however....

Spokane and get on 90 asap IMO. Watch the weather and watch out for the elk starting at Vantage. They hitting a out one a week. Crazy drivers. Saw an unchained car spin out twice west of Cle Elum. Passed me. Spun into the rail. Backed out passed me again an spun into the ditch.

I'm hoping to attend all three days, but family stuff might mean that I can only make it up there one day (if at all). I won't know if I'm coming until the morning of.

Any day I come, I'll bring some lamb belly to fry up in the morning. My work is across the street from the butcher that sells it. Think of it as "bonus bacon" if I make it.
