Fucking Gronk isn't fair in real or fantasy football. My GF says he's too big, either everyone gets a Gronk or no one gets a Gronk. Looks like the gig is up for me

Looks like my Jimmy G / Goodwin gamble has paid off well enough this week. Yee-haw.

Gronk had 23 points, but I had Greg Olsen on my bench who had 22, so.. its not like he put up 50 points or something crazy like Gurley did
and I wouldnt concede yet if I were you! I have horrible fantasy luck. I already lost a game this year by a kicker scoring 20+ points in the Monday night game, to come back from an "insurmountable" deficit..

Concede? You kidding?
I'm going full Roy Moore on this one, even if Bryant only gets 6 points tonight I'm playing on!!

It's definitely not over, 5 40 yard FGs and an extra point or two gets you the win..
And Mr McG - I hope I make the superbowl, if only because - I'm gunning for you.
want the chance to avenge my 3 point loss to you two weeks ago! sucks that Burkhead got hurt though - I just lost the goal line back for maybe the best offense in the league. 6 TDs in the last 4 games

Yah your team is looking decent for sure... I have a feeling Rodgers won't be playing tho. Any team with Bell always worries me.
I think Adams will be shut down for the year after another BS hit to his head so that hurts me, Morris will become useless with Zeke back next week so i will have a decision or 2 for the Suberb Owl..

FF gods do not want me to win the title this year

I'm obviously out of the running in the TGR league, but playing for the championship in my other one. I have Foles and Prescott, and can't decide which to start. Seems "they" are generally recommending Prescott, but CBS projected scoring favors Prescott.
Any thoughts?

Tough choice... Fantasy pro consensus rankings has them evenly ranked with a very slight edge to Prescott.
I'd be inclined to start Prescott, since zeke will help make the team run better and the cowgirls are playing for their playoff lives.... But Seahawks are a tougher matchup then Oakland.
Good luck, and hope all is well!
I live by these consensus ranking, takes some of the fun out of scouting and managing but I trust it overall

I made our championship as well with my only tough choice being should I start McKinnon or Demarco Murray.
I already have Latavius Murray playing, FP has Mackinnon ranked higher but I wonder if I should hedge my bets in case the Vikes lay an egg this weekend.

I’m playing in the finals in my other league as well.
I would start McKinnon. Vikes are going to destroy Green Bay. I bet it’s a single digit score GB puts up.
I would start Foles. Prescott will need to do less with an angry zeke being the focus of the offense.

I have the exact same two QBs in this league. As was the case last week, Foles has the better weapons, the better defense, the better coach, and the better matchup.
Prescott gets Zeke back, yes, but the loss of L tackle Tyron Smith can't be overestimated. Prescott had the worst 3 or 4 game stretch of his career earlier in the season when Smith missed games.
The "projections" have Prescott at like 19 and Foles at only like 15, but I don't pay any attention to that. Look at the mitigating factors involved in each player's situation. The ONLY reason I would even consider Prescott, is the chance that Philly completely destroys Oakland, and then rests their starters. Obviously would limit Foles' numbers if that happens. Also, if the unthinkable happens, and the Packers beat the Vikes (yeah, I know, probably not happening), the Eagles would clinch home field and have nothing left to play for. I would lean towards Prescott in that unlikely scenario.

Truly not expecting to win this week brother. If you had asked me two weeks ago, I felt great about my potential superbowl roster: Aaron Rodgers, Thielen/Diggs/Jeffery, LaVeon Bell/ Rex Burkhead, Gronk, and the ace up my sleeve; matchup-winning kicker Greg the Leg.
Now, I'm streaming a QB, I lost Burkhead, I'm streaming a kicker... my chances have dropped precipitously

Might have to second guess Foles over Prescott CaptainA - weather saying 30 degrees with sustained 20 mph wind and 30+ gusts... Not sounding like a night to throw for 400 yards and 4 TDs

Good thing I gambled heavily on the Vikings offense this week

EDIT: I misread the tea leaves. Philly didn't clinch.
It sounds like they're looking to rest Foles as early as they can, so even if he starts, they'll probably pull him ASAP. Not good for what I need. I guess it depends on how badly they need home-field advantage.
MPPG, I've seen that site before but forgot about it. They've got Prescott by 60-40 right now, so maybe I should listen? (Btw, maybe we'll meet up in VT this winter? Odds are better than when you were in UT, anyway).
I'm glad Thielen had a boring night, though. That helped considerably.

Weather forecast now saying 10mph winds tomorrow in Philly, nothing to worry about
'Boys LT Tyron Smith (questionable, back, knee) is "pushing to play" against the Seahawks according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport...
Seahawks getting difference making linebackers K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner back..

Championship game in a nutshell: Brady too high for Gronk in the end zone, Gosktowski kicks the FG instead. Thats a 10 point swing on 1 play. Oh well. I'm done.
Merry Christmas guys

I went with Dak. He got me -2 points. Not quite what I was hoping for.
Luckily, Gurley went off, and Larry Fitzgerald had a solid night, so between the two of them, they accounted for 80 out of my 127 points, which was enough for a win. I'll keep an eye on what could have been with Foles tomorrow night, but at least I don't have to worry that I made the wrong choice (even though it's unlikely that he'll score worse than -2).
