What we really want to know is whether or not the bison was okay.

Bison is fine. Sideswipe. My bud's right rear view mirror got whacked. No pics. Happened when it was dark. We were a few miles behind them, likely passed them when they turned around to check on the bison.

The best time to hike in Zion is to roll in around 4-5 in the morning. No crowds, cool weather, and you can watch the sunrise on top of Angels Landing. Never anyone at the gate that early.

Did you load the bison in the back of your car and go find a ranger to take care of it.
If not, you are heartless bastard.

I just buy the annual pass these days. I figure I owe it to the parks after all those years of dirt bagging into Yosemite. I can afford it now, and I really don't mind giving a few bucks to our national parks. Our parks are pretty exceptional, and need the help. Unfortunately I am not sure just how much money stays in the parks verses going to
Washington to be wasted on golf weekends.
