There's a lot of collective wisdom in the above posts, and no, I'm not deluded about being a ski designer (far from it). A skinny GPO seemed like a safe bet, but comments about a BC, Fat Yeti and skinny Rx give me pause.
Agreed that a skinny Q makes little sense (after a few days on the standard width). The asym. seems to work best in softer snow, and given that we're going to ski a ski over a range of conditions (bracketing around its sweet spot), a 108 ski will likely be skied quite a bit in harder conditions ... not so optimal from my experience - at least for someone who's used to pushing the front of their boots.

Because you'd think less of me if I didn't, I pasted together the charts on all four skis in question. Perhaps the only question lies in whether the slightly reduced rocker on the BC's is due to the standard, softer flex and whether going to a "4" flex might require a bit more rocker. I think we're down to splitting hairs (chart is below SupreChicken's post).

2017 Praxis Skis Info and Resource Thread
What’s crazy is how the industry is chasing after 9lb and under skis that are still stable in bounds, while Praxis has already been making them for years..

Plan on joining team RX this sale. I like where avergeuse is going on his build although nylon for me unless free or cheap veneer (then heavy core if veneer). Would be inbounds ski and thinking ideal for travel. Have asym BG that I love so feel a little wrong for getting its adversary and lining up overlap. But hey, its what we do.

Anyone know if you can stack coupons on top of the custom sale price?

As other ms have said, 15% stacks on top of the 50% off sale in a couple weeks, as well as current discounted skis. If anyone needs a code hit me up.
As far as I know there aren't any codes that give more than 15% off anymore

is keith@praxisskis.com the best way to get in touch with Praxis for questions on a custom build? I sent an email a bit ago but I'm sure they are slammed. Trying to figure out what veneer to pick or is it mostly cosmetic?

There was some discussion about differences among the veneers prior to last year's custom order. My recollection is that the gist was bamboo chipped a bit more and was a tad heavier. Keith has said the hardwoods are similar in weight and durability. I have experience with Maple Ambrosia and, so far (dozen days), am way impressed.
