Horrible 4th down play might have just killed Virginia hopes of upsetting Miami, and Badgers firmly in control.

    Lets go HOGS!!!

Hopefully not speaking to soon, but: less of a battle!

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Def interesting - the prodigal son at Michigan really is struggling. So far a 3 loss season, no Big Ten championship and next year is not looking very promising.

    OFFICIAL 2017-2018 College Football Thread

Utah is holding their own against Washington. Really good game going

Edit: this game has me convinced that whittingham needs to go. Had the game in control, then took his foot off the gas and punted twice. Washington was ready to go to overtime, but he gets too cute with his timeouts and lets them drive down the field to kick the game winner. Fucking frustrating.

Hurricanes in the Final Four? I'm thinking Auburn, Bama, Miami and Wisconsin. Gotta luv The Badgers

Badgers will lose to OSU in the B1G championship. I don't think Big10 will be in the final four this year.

I'll be in the minority but 8 teams is to many. Too many games for players to play. Maybe eliminate 2 regular season games and conference title games if you go to 8.

If you remove the conference championship games, then this becomes much more manageable.

    Example:

    This year you would have:

    Ohio State
    Wisconsin

    Alabama
    Auburn

    Miami
    Clemson

    Oklahoma
    Georgia

^^^except there are the Power 5. There are always the ACC, SEC, Big-10. How does the BIG-12 and Pac-12 compete for #4?

That's a this year scenario, which you're assuming is conference champ play.

I'm not saying it's always conference teams, but it will always very likley be.

    Top 8 = Top 8 best teams.

Right, I was thinking that every year the winners of the ACC, SEC, Big-10 and then the better of the PAC-12 and BIG-12 head to the play-offs. But I can see giving a play-off spot to the winners of the Power 5 + the three next best teams (outside the Power 5).

I love the guy for what he's done for the program, but maybe like Mac it's time to move on. I'd still give him another year though. I want to see how Huntley does next year. Plus who are we going to get that's better? Tds fans hated Bronco for his last few years, but I bet they'd take him back in a minute if they could.

Yeah. No doubt he’s done great, but he’s proven incapable of producing a consistent offense and he doesn’t trust the passing game to close out games. Last night they moved the ball at will in the 4th quarter til the 4 Minite drill and then ran the call like 8 times in a row and couldn’t put the game away. That’s been a problem for the last five years.
