Bullshit. That’s not clearly out of bounds.

But yeah what do I care as a neutral observer? Want to see a good, evenly called game? Pipe dream.

Just happy to see one of those two teams lost. Best outcome I could hope for in that situation.

The best situation would've been the SMoD.

Hey, if a foreigner can be president why can't one play QB for 'bama?

The college rule I hate is official reviews in the middle of drives. Momentum killing. I like the pro rules--coaches challenges except for TD's and turnovers. (I've never understood the last 2 minute rule for reviews in the pros.) OTOH I like the college rule of clock stopping on first downs. Makes for a few more last minute comebacks.

OT rules--use the NBA rules--play full periods--maybe shorten to 10 minutes but no sudden death, until someone wins by points or because the other team can no longer field 11 players. But seriously, while the college OT rule is annoying, it's a lot fairer than the pro rule. At least it's not a shootout like the world cup.

    Whoa - very sad!

    WSU QUARTERBACK FOUND DEAD

We have learned that Washington State quarterback Tyler Hilinski, 21, was found dead Tuesday in an apartment in Pullman.

Hilinski suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and a rifle and suicide note were found next to him, according to Pullman police.

Officers responded to Hilinski's apartment to conduct a welfare check after he "did not show up for practice earlier in the day," police said.

"We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Tyler's passing," Washington State coach Mike Leach said in a statement. "He was an incredible young man and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him was better for it. The entire WSU community mourns as thoughts and prayers go out to his family."
When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. To do something." Rep. John Lewis

A lot of pressure for D1 quarterback. School and team can overwhelm.

CTE testing may not be possible in this case since he shot himself in the head with a rifle. But, if they can and do test for it I'd be shocked if the results were negative.
