Togwotee Mountain Lodge ~ Should be on Your Radar (if you like pow)

We went up to Togwotee Mountain Lodge last winter to write an article on the lodge and activities offered out there backdoor. The place is special especially if you like getting away from the crowds. And the terrain, well there is LIFETIMES worth of skiing up there, which rarely gets hit as it's farther than a lot of the classic Jackson bc zones..

Stayed near here this summer (camped near a friends wedding at Turpin Meadow Ranch) and all I could think about is what a wonderful BC ski vacation it would be. So much terrain -- from gnar to mellow. Few people. Thanks for the report.

I have done 3? Maybe 4 trips there for winter BC fun. Guy on splitboard.com ( Wyomingsplitride) used to throw the "Scrubfest" at Turpin Meadows turnout. Bonfires, Whiskey and winter dirtbag camping followed with Angle Mountain, French Spy Bowl ect in the day.
I met some good friends there and got some great tours.
We would do our Saturday night raffle in the Bar at the Lodge.
25 or so splitters surrounded by slednecks. Sometimes some of the group would head over to the Tetons but most tours were done at Togwootee

    Ahhhh Good Times
