If I owned a restaurant, I'd greet everyone at the door with a small super nice g&t.
Ot maybe a hot toddy in the winter

I'd install a rotating door on front for you and frequent it often.

Forget Hendricks, forget sapphire, tanq, and the others ('cept maybe that Islay) this is better
Made 15 miles from me. As Flyoverland sez, buy local
And it's made from organic, free range, fair trade, cage-free, gluten free, nitrite free, non GMO, local juniper berries, sustainably hand harvested by virgins.

Ice says he only drinks one G&T, however that strong of a pour is four drinks. I prefer to get four fresh small drinks than one big one. I don't want the ice to melt. I want fresh limes. Etc. And lifting a pint glass is too much work if I am in a G&T state of mind.

That's a better way to go no doubt. I get a lot of scrutiny though. I just try to keep everything on the dl to avoid controversy.

Can't believe that there is no love for some "Q" tonic, especially in the summer mixed with Hendrick's
Refreshing.

The other half isn't a fan of gin but she discovered this french one in Paris called Citadelle. I guess its more slowly distilled and 'more delicate' whatever that means.
I liked it, but I haven't seen it since.
tl;dr French gin. Yeah.I still call it The Jake.

French Liquor. Heh. Many years ago I used to drink a pint glass of Grey Goose, neat, as my party drink. I'd sip on that and use it for the chaser of any shots we were doing or to cleanse the palate after a beer. Those were the days. Of course there were also a few incidents where I lost my shoes or woke up on a lawn. But hey, it was all in good fun. It did lead to one particularly funny moment when a friend choked a little bit on some wiskey shots we were doing and I, being the smart ass I am, handed him my glass of 'water'. Life imitates art. "It's fucking vodka!" I had waited years for that one. And it is something that only comes around once.
I see hydraulic turtles.

I've never gotten in trouble for adding ice or tonic to my glass. It is what it is.
on a related note, wife flew out of town early this AM and will be back around midnight, I got nothing I absolutely need to do, so I'm working a good day buzz here. Figure a nap for a couple hours this afternoon. What could go wrong?

Running short on booze. Not psyched to drive. It's a conundrum.
