Ran out of gin the other day. Made a tequila tonic, with hornitos silver. Couple of shakes of Fee Bothers orange bitters and a lemon squeeze. Pretty fucking good

I think fever tree tonic is worth the price. (Not flavored? Been drinking wild roots gin. Also like st George.

I’d say I’ve had about 2 quarts of Bombay sapphire by now, does this qualify for participation?

I'm partial to tangueray, tried Bombay Saphire and not for me.

What's the absolute cheapest, but acceptable, gin and tonic?

I prefer the Bombay Saphire. However I would probably drink even bathtub gin with the right tonic and or bitters.

I'm going to have to try that. I like G+T as my usual easy to make summer drink.

I like Costco Kirkland house brand gin. Actually prefer it a little over Tanqueray.

This page delivered. Outstanding work boys.

Oh, and Riser, a frozen coke machine is the thing that makes these, but at the pool you have to bring your own Jack, which isn’t frowned upon, just has to be in plastic. A dangerously good indulgence saved for those summer months when a global pandemic isn’t happening.

I still call it The Jake.

I’ll admit to having one a week during the pool months. The crazy thing is even in slush form there’s carbonation, which is nice. The ones posted above are from Victory Sandwich Bar, and excellent, but there’s something nice about being able to mix mine adjacent to the pool snack bar just a bit overly-boozy as to make the sugar intake absolutely worth it.
