Was at the store today, and New Amsterdam Stratusphere, which is a London dry gin, unlike regular New Amsterdam, which has some weird flavors. 94 proof, citrus forward, not bad. Few bucks less than Beef. But, still not as good as deal as Kirkland

I just picked up a bottle too. Happy with it, especially for the price.

I've been modding my g&ts with a few drops of Zirbenz, an Austrian pine liqueur.

    Heresy, I know.

got a cheaper alternative? i usually get fever tree when it's on sale, but it's way better than schweppes or whatever.

Honestly been buying polar (I think, would have to go check) for $1/liter.

White Rock. Made with cane sugar and not HFCS.

Would you look at that. I just found their tonic and soda water at the LLS last year and I haven’t strayed. Where’s it from? I just figured it was an old southern brand.

No idea. I've never had it, and thought it was some cheap grocery store brand. That image came up on a google search.

Like a mermaid without the fish part. Or maybe a risque angel.

Now I'll have to try it.

The great Compari shortage (see Boulevardier thread) reminded me that Fevertree premium tonic has been unavailable for almost 4 weeks locally. Crying into my Shwepps.

It’s been officially G&T season since the mercury crossed 70 back in March. I look forward to the rest of you joining us when your calendars turn to May.

We've had a few on the deck since the temperatures played their usual April trick and were in the high seventies before plummeting back into the Juneuary drizzle and 50s.

I'm still an advocate of the Z&T, with Zirbenz.
