a dating do:
If you say you're going to call, for crying out loud, CALL. If you don't plan on calling, don't say anything.

If you ask her out, pay. If she asks you out, it can go either way, but if you pay, you'll score points. A dating do for girls: If the guy buys dinner, you buy a drink or two at the next bar.

If you're picking her up in your car, clean your car (that means inside, too) and make sure the front seat doesn't need to be cleared off before she can sit down on it.

Look her in the eye during your date. Not at the hottie walking by.

I don't fully agree with this one.

There are some group dymanics that play into this. If her girlfriends like you, that's positive, but if they don't like you, it's doomed. If the girlfriends tell her they think you're hot, that's about as good as you can get, (a little flirtation, and a little competition is good). In fact, if they tell her that you're desirable, then all their conversations will be about if she has done it with you yet. (They'll be burning up the phones, e-mail, and text messages focused on this one and only subject).

But, the real reason to check out her friends, is for 'future reference'. Meaning, if it doesn't work out with her, move on to the friends. Don't even thing twice about it, it's a dog-eat-dog world. And, a little competition injected into this mating ritual never hurt anything.

On yea, and if you and her hit it off, especially while horizontal, then at least one of her friends will want to do you too.

No user bring up an excellent point. I've had more than one lame waste of time "date" get way better with the dynamics of "friends" and their healthy competitiveness.

Nothing like having a new lovely lady decide she'd like to "take you away" from the first lovely lady.

If she's driving cause you're too drunk don't throw a beer bottle out the window at a stop sign with a cop behind you and get her a DUI.

Never did get that second date.
