Anything replacing it?

Probably just a suspension upgrade for the Tundra. Debating wether to do the Bilstein 6112+5160 or the OME BP51 kit.

Bittersweet to let go, but I really haven't driven it much the past year.
Good feedback on the bp51 setup, on a cruiser or truck?

I've been doing a lot of research and the BP51 seems like a great out of the box shock from everything I've read.

Need some advice. A very nicely priced 96 came up locally. I mean like priced that I could drive it for a few years and still make money.
No undercarriage rust, 220k interior super clean (almost looks replaced it's so mint) needs very minor work like a driver side window that works "sometimes" and an exhaust hanger, few odd n ends.
Also anyone know if that had the lockers or was it option?
Please don't steal my dream truck.

Thanks waiting to hear back from seller about lockers, but I am likely in either way..
Anything other than normal I should be looking for? For reference just got rid of an 06 tundra limited so familiar with toyo. Just wondering anything particular with this model year.
Btw jump seats 3rd row are cool as fuck

Buy it! Just saw one of the nicer 80s I’ve seen in the Alta lot.

Go to slee off roads site and read the 80 series purchasing FAQ.
Then go to ih8muds 80 series forum section and read that FAQ.
You’ll know everything you need to know from those.
Personally I look at
Pesky heater hose
Heater valve
If the undercarriage looks recently painted (hide rust)
Front axle (birfield) condition
Rear axle
Any rust, signs of leaks, etc.
the windshield and sunroof tend to leak on these if not maintained or replaced poorly.
Also if it has lockers make sure it actually has them. People have been selling “locked” cruisers that they put a switch in with no actual locker. If you read the door jam plate it will have a series of numbers. If it contains k294 it had lockers from the factory. If it says k292 it did not.
If locked make sure they engage. If they don’t quickly drive in figure 8s to see if they engage. Do this off pavement.
The cruisers are wild how much they can take abuse wise or lack of maintenance. Don’t do that though.
My 80 for what it’s worth

Nice! Was mountain biking down that one day and passed about 15 cruisers. Totally forgot that Cruise Moab or whatever it is was going on.

Pyro nailed it. Send me a link to what you’re looking at. I already have the 80 I want so won’t steal it. I have a buddy listing one in the next few weeks and I’ll put it up here when he does.

Check the front of the engine block for leaky oil pump housing. Pesky heater hose is also a must fix asap if it hasn't been done. Not easily accessible, but not as big a pain in the ass as some make it out to be. (Those guys have never worked on a 944 turbo).

might not be a good a deal as I imagined. Saw a few doing quick searches with more miles, but had some mods. This is stock far as I know. I dont know if I will actually pull the trigger, the stars will need to align.

body and interior are clean
no pics of engine bay, could be a red flag
rust on frame, possibly just surface but no way to be sure without seeing it in person
FYI, I sold my rust-free locked 94 with brand new Fox/OME suspension for about the same price but it needed new seals on the engine.

Just found an '03 one owner, dealer maintained with 134k. Drove it back from Houston yesterday. Was in TX visiting my sister and it popped up at a nearby Jaguar dealership. I contacted them as soon as i saw it listed, must have been underpriced since the sales guy seemed surprised about the number of out-of-state calls they were getting.
My initial enthusiasm has been tempered a bit after looking into updating the nav/audio. After reviewing a limited number of complex, uncertain options, i think i found my solution:

you can get bluetooth tape thingys to do that - I've not used one though - but it allows you to avoid the annoying cord
