We don't know what the rocks under his rear axle look like. We don't know if he had to do a multipoint turn to get his angle right for the next move-maybe he stopped and is now going to back up. Maybe the move above put him in that spot and he's now correcting it. Maybe the rock under his front pass tire would crush his pumpkin and he couldn't fit to the inside because of width or the prior move. I'm not sure what line I'd pick because I've never been there but I wouldn't call this guy a shitty driver because of one pic.
A hat tip to you sir.

I heard you only use lockers to get home, not going out. That rule has save me some grief.

That's where the "overlanders" keep the midget hookers, it's just not p.c. to mention it on their blog.

Yes we have one too. In 2008 we purchased a 1991 FJZ80. I always knew they were nice vehicles, but really bought it b/c it fit the fam.

It was purchased on eBay for $5500 from a dealer in SLC. When it was new in town, people would just walk up and ask to buy it. After some web research- mainly on the excellent IH8MUD forums, I found the ole '91 Land Cruiser was a hot item as it had the stock differential lock- or something transfer case related- my particular year was famous for. I though it was famous for bad gas mileage. I get 11-13 MPG.

Working on it is like working on a tractor. Everything is big, simple and heavy. It even sounds like a tractor. People ask how it runs and I tell them. "It just barely runs. It just barely runs very consistently.".

Down for the count with a cracked radiator, I'll be working on it tonight with my son Blaze. It has been a great car, but was ridden hard when we had got it and required some maintenance.

The platform is solid and parts will be around for ever. We have a Vanagon and the Land Cruiser. It's really fun watching any terrorist movie. We see our cars everywhere in third world/adventure/action flicks.

For anyone interested, there's a LC listed in Vegas Craigslist with around 115k miles and an exorbitant price.

95 TLC acquired. Now for the long boring drive home. And of course the dude says ac works, and it does not! But it seems to drive OK. Pics to come.
Here is one from the plane window.

    Good work!

Just picked up a 1996 LX450 in Missoula last week for 4500, seems that everything works pretty well so far apart from an intermittent misfire issue caused by the harness going past the EGR being melted. Gonna dig into that and solder some new line in and heat wrap it. Apart from that, its pretty amazing how much nicer the lexus interior is than the toyotas, plus they seem to be cheaper as someone else mentioned. Sound deadening in the LX alone makes them worth seeking out.

These trucks are sweet, its everything I wish a 4runner was... I think prices are starting to creep. One of the few trucks that you could probably not lose money with after doing a light restoration. Maybe only worth it on trucks with factory E-lockers or 40th anniversary though.

This one (craigslist) has been up for a month, prime lowball territory. Looks to be a nice turn key truck if I was in the ~10k market.
