Bruins - Flyers in OT right now on NBC. Bruins come from behind to tie it with 3.8 second to go in regulation.

edit: Flyers win in OT on a Giroux breakaway.

Great game i don't know how flyers couldn't clear the zone but helluva effort by the B's. Missed the OT goal though. Damn

It was crazy that the Flyers weren't able to clear at the end of regulation, they all kinda fucked up but Simmonds really fucked up.

Flyers have really turned it on in the 3rd lately. . Saw them play like that in the 3rd when they were in our house on St Pat's Day.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

um. They were up 2 in the 3rd and the Bruins caught up and forced OT. This was not a day when the Flyers dominated the 3rd.

It's ok. If you are correct then there's nowhere to go but down for Marchand.

You east coast guys are funny. Clearly you've never seen Mac play if you think marchand is the best player in the NHL. My Avs are fucked though with EJ and Varly out.

To set the record straight it was only me saying he's the best.

But MacKinnon? He's only the 3rd-best player from Greater Halifax in the league, he's a long ways from being talked about as the best player in the league. As is Marchand, I know many would reply.

Suter...broken leg. Our top 2 defense men out (Suter and Spurgeon). F. How will my Wild prevail? Didnít expect to advance beyond round 1, but not no chance unless Doobs stands on his head now.

Nice early goal in the 3rd to put the Caps up 3-0. They are not intimidated by the Pens or the Yinzer crowd for once, it's good to see.

Now they'll probably beat the Bruins in the playoffs again since I gave them some love. Fuck.

that last 5 minutes was fun to watch.. not that the whole game wasn't. a meet up between the caps and pens in the playoffs would be something.

my Devils are hanging in there

    oh, and fuck Marchand

he gets attention, you can't deny that. The other team spends half the game trying to kill him and while they're doing that the Bruins win.

He's scored more points every year in a row for 5 straight years, he's +33 (!) this year, he's leading the best team in hockey the past 4 months with heart and guts and obnoxiousness and a distinct lack of fear. If he was on your team you'd love him. So shove it.

    Perhaps.

But by the same logic, if he was not on your team, you'd hate him too.

    oh no doubt! come on.

    but,

    34-7-7

over the last 4-ish months. actually not quite sure exactly when those numbers started, it was something they just said on TV a minute ago. But definitely the best record in hockey the past 4 months.

Whenever he played for team Canada, I surely recognized his talent. Which was only trumped by my recognition of his shit headedness.

    But a W is a W. I get that.

So Washington is going to get the Flyers or Devils in the first round. I think I would prefer Jersey.

I think I would, too. In theory, that could leave Philly and Pitt to fight it out in the first, which could be good for whoever meets the winner of that series.

Caps/Devils on Saturday could be interesting, as a result, since the Caps could basically be in position to determine who they'll meet in round 1.
