    Rapidgrass Festival

Just realized that I should probably post this here, since it's in striking range for a lot of mags.

So, there's a cool music festival happening this weekend in Idaho Springs, CO. Check out the lineup here: http://rapidgrassfestival.com/2017-schedule/.

My band (Mayhem Gulch) opens the festival today at 5pm. I'm the dobro player, if anyone is going to be there, come up and say hi!

Pegleg rips on the dobro (first place in the 2016 Rockygrass dobro competition), for anyone looking for good mag music.

Gipsy Moon was great. Love the gypsy/klezmer/eastern European vibe. Super fun festival overall, I'll plan to go again next year even if we're not playing. Really great picking scene for the musicians - most of the bands were camping (not always the case at festivals) so there was a lot of talent in the late-night picking circles.

Not with this band - we're on break for most of July until the end of August due to members traveling. I think our next official gig after Aspen is Mountain Sun in Boulder on August 27. You can check www.mayhemgulch.com for our calendar.

I'll be playing other local gigs, though, with some other bands. I'll try to post the dates when I get them here.
