Great stuff. Do most folks spend the night up high or ski back down after sunset?

Most ski down
It looked like there were 5 tents for folks who stayed up
[ETA] some folks are sleeping in vehicles in the climber's lot tooLast edited by acinpdx; 06-23-2017 at 01:16 PM.

It's definitely happening again this Thursday! People will probably start showing up at the saddle between 4 and 5.

I mean officially it might be. But we are all entitled to do what we want... unofficially... as confirmed by the powers that be.

celebratedskier, did publishing photos in this thread provoke the tattlers?
i get the point about keeping the wilderness wild, but it seems someone was a little wound-up to call out this event. it is just outside the border of a developed ski area. did people not clean up their shit last year?
weather looks to be clearing for a decent sunset ::: i hope all who get to go this year enjoy it as much as i did last year -- we have a special place that deserves respect. (And asit doesn't need to bear the burden of folks who can't take care of their own stuff)

my favorite day of the year as every day after the solstice is getting darker longer and closer to winter !
TGR forums cannot handle SkiCougar !

AC - Heal fast. Only 20ish weeks before we have to ski in winter conditions again.
wyeaster - Not like your kid needs another hobby, but summer skiing sounds like a worthwhile addition to the list.
flowing - That is lame. Could be worse though - heard from a teacher in Troutdale last week they are talking about a shift to year round school.
