Phew. I was really worried seeing this thread bumped, super happy that it's for good reasons!
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy

That film is amazing! I didn't realize you both are stage 4. As you know my wife Jennifer is stage 4, too. Its in her bones, hip and pelvis mostly, so she can't climb. I wanted to climb the Grand but put it off. You have encouraged me to go ahead and try. Jen wants to be at base camp. Time to train for next summer. She was given 5 years 3 years ago. However, last scan showed an increase in the markers.
We are looking into medical marijauna right now. Seems some cannibis oil can kill cancer cells. I'll keep you posted! Woulde love to meet you guys out there!

Great film, sad and happy at the same time. I have to admit I stopped following this thread and though all was well, boy was I surprised and disappointment to hear how things are going. I did the Grand last summer (at base camp for the eclipse), and just assumed you went on a did it with no problem. So sorry to hear you haven't made it (yet). Keep up the good fight, and I look forward to summit pictures with a big "Kick Cancer's Ass" grin on your face.
Good luck and hang in there.
BTW, I found the climb to be surprisingly easy...long, but not very difficult and the exposure is not too bad (obviously depending on route,) so keep at it.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Tate,
This was a riveting 26 minutes for me.
Your bravery in sharing this horrible experience with us, will no doubt, help inspire people here to get screened.
