    Hi all,
It has been a long time since I posted, but as always it is entertaining and exciting lurking and seeing all the cool stuff going on here. I regret to inform you all that Tate Macdowell aka hottate finally passed away from his battle with cancer on Friday. Tate was a wild and fiery and beautiful human being. He loved the forums and loved engaging with you all. I know he would want me to let you all know. He is survived by his wife Lora, his son Wilson, brother Travis and his parents. We will miss his antics in the forums and for all who knew him outside of here, his epicness in life. Live every day to the fullest!

I found this inspiring video of an acceptance speech Tate provided for winning this award, "5Point Film Festival … “Mountain In The Hallway” Wins “Most Inspirational” Award" in May of this year. It's really a well done piece and pays a great tribute to all Tate was going through. This is really a sad day but his message is very positive. Again, RIP Sock Puppet.

FUCK! One of the best, brightest, kindest, most talented, ruthless in his humor, and truest to himself is gone. The world is a gray today. I am gutted. We are all gutted.
