That’s a nice sized blue. Did you keep it? Even if we immediately bleed them, I still can’t get into eating it. Great sport, but I’d rather throw them back.
Because rich has nothing to do with money.

Same. Maybe a pate but that’s a lot of work for stuff I don’t even like.
Good tuna or shark bait though!Decisions Decisions

Thanks guys. I was casting into a mixed feed hoping for Albies but it turned out to be a small school of chub mackerel on bait being chased by some dinosaur bluefish and that one hit my epoxy jig. I released it. I really like smoked bluefish but I’ve never tried preparing it myself.

Blues? Great music. Bad eating. Might as well eat a falsie.
I’ve had it bled prepped and cooked proper. Blue still sucks.
But bluefish and false Albie are great fun on the reel
Striper is delicious. Tastier than a stripper. Good flakey white meat. It’s just hard to get a slot when the slot is so small.

It was a really nice morning on the water, saw so many migrating birds. This is my second time trying for tog. The big ones must fight like beasts.
Did you see any Albies? They were around the Narragansett/Pt Judith area just a few days ago but I didn’t see any yesterday.
