Well I do not know which member of Congress you are talking about that was an Ex-Marine but the Congressman I am sure definitely was a Medic in the Service and did get interviewed on morning TV- Rep. Congressman Steve Scalise was back to Capitol Hill and the Capitol Building for the first time in over 3 months. Gave a speech that was full of thanks to many including the 2 Capitol Police Officers; Rep. Wenstrup, the Doctor on the field that applied the tourniquet to his leg; his medical team that performed the numerous operations to rebuild his leg and hip; and of course his family.
