Yeah, I think so. My last trip to see Fred was in late March after I shark bit both skis at Blackcomb. He took his bounty and put it in his truck. I thought it might be due to the new owners.

At any rate: I'd rather ski Fischer skis than K2 skis, all day every day forever. Good for Mike Hattrup, good for Fischer, and Vashon Island will continue to design Cadillac skis for Cadillac tastes.

What are you thinking of mounting on them? I'm thinking about a pair of Kingpin 13s so I can tour with them and they are lighter for side country trips.

Bump cuz I just got my 5th or 6th pair of used Watea 101 and I might have finally spent full retail.

Fischer makes great skis.

And Mike Hattrup is a great guy. Was my K2 rep for years back in the day. Convinced me to buy Work Stinx (AK LawnChair) and showed me the light on phat skis for tele. I still have some OG Coombas in rotation.
