    Ring Ring.

Tell me about how smooth they are?

    Anyone ski them with Maple/Ash?

Are they "freeridey", do they feel good in the air, whats the landing platform like?

I suspect your Maple Ash flex #5 will ski differently than the MAP-C core with a medium flex that I picked up a few years ago, but what I like and why I re-upped with an enduro-carbon with a maple veneer and #4 flex for this fall:

    1. Long turn radius handles nearly all conditions we get in Juneau from mid-winter to early spring (maritime climate, often heavy wet, variable and cruddy, but not infrequetnly soft and smooth). IMHO, rockered and short turn radius skis are over-turny, twitchy things.

    2. It also handles hardpack surprisingly well and has never been hooky for me.

    3. Perfect compromise between weight, power, and girth. I tour on them all the time. I love Billygoats, but I'm not going to haul 10 lbs underfoot up 3K-6K feet. And 115mm in the waist is a perfect all arounder out here. I have Down CD 102 and Wren 98s for all other conditions. I also have the Steeple 108s but I'm not sure whether I'll be keeping those next winter. Great ski too.

In short, fun and predictable ride that handles nearly everything I like to ski. I enter the park only when I'm tailing my kids and then I'm on the easy stuff.

If you carve 32m radius turns, yes. If you are a pussy, then no.

Take em to Big Sky, Bob... they'd be shredded in two months. We live in the deep zone. Skis last forever in the PNW. Except at LVS's rockpile 😁😵

Every time I ski with LVS, I add a new gouge. It's like a tally for days skied at mission, but on my bases.

If the legs they're attached to are sufficiently skilled. Where that leaves Bobby, I don't know.

Na I blew out my back last winter. No surgery, just pain and physical therapy. Much better now.

I like short skis too! I tend to like most skis actually. My next pair of Praxis is even shorter. Good for bumps, I love bumps.

I have 179 pettitors, that actually feel about the same weight in hand as those 189 Rx heavy core.. for ripping tight powdery trees faster than a Gibbon could swing through them. And trying switch 5s

As well as 184 shreditor 92s

Quoted for truth. Big Sky just eats skis. I never had a pair last me more than a season there. That's with major ptex work and screwing edges back in.

Yeah it seemed like 360 degrees of rocks off the tram.

That heated seat on the bubble sixpack tho....
Move upside and let the man go through...
