    Sherpas saying its still intact...

Conflicting reports. Personally I trust the Sherpas account, but it could be all "political". If the step is gone less people might show next year or whatever...

Political? Wtf? Nepal desperately wants more tourists, especially after the earthquake. Knowing how peeved Sherpas are with the Kathmandu cent.gov, it would certainly take a special angle to spin it why Sherpas would want less people there.
Better deals and revenue = Yes.
    Less tourists = No.

political meaning. Lets not tell anyone its gone. If its gone less people MIGHT come as they dont know how/if they can negotiate that section of the climb. Of course they don't want less people.

    Dude.

Political meaning, by whom? Nepalese governement? Sherpas? Guide companies? What, why?
    Care to elaborate?

If Hillary Step would be gone, by all accounts, it would be easier to navigate that part as it would be snow like the rest of that ridge.

It just psyops so the Sherpas can install as escalator like at Beaver Creek. Of course there will be no hand rail to keep it a core experience.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

See section that talks about will it be easier to climb without Hillary Step?

Id say its in the Sherpas best interest to not publicize the potential loss of Hillary Step, and POTENTIAL loss of climbers. Looks like the guy claiming its gone will be back up with clients and get more info.

Didja see the stories about Kilian up there the other day? 26h from base camp to the summit without using supplemental oxygen or any of the fixed ropes. Sounds like he got a touch of the Nepalese fire shits near the summit which hampered his attempt at setting a proper round trip fkt though. Maybe he'll go back for seconds?

Either you are formulating your sentences so incoherently that one does not compute, or you are riled up with Hillary (again).
What is your angle? Who is the bad guy? Who is doing this or that? Care to elaborate?
