I actually saw that exact thing happen at the greatest dive in the world when, sometime after close around 3:30am, one bartender didn’t like the sass the other was giving him after a long night so he reached over and chucked this monster porcelain Jägermeister ashtray at him.

It was so big and heavy it made a whirring sound as the orange and black disc passed our seats. The only thing louder than the sound of it hitting the other guy’s forehead was the remarkable thud it made as it landed on the sticky hardwood floor.

    Unbroken.

The same could not be said of Ron.

No shit? Well if that doesn’t brighten a guy's day.

All the more reason to make this year the year I make it. Cause I’m already a year older.

I’ll keep reporting tales from the Dive as well. At this point I dont need to show up much anymore since the stories are so backlogged.

Mt Everest is overrated and not worth it, unless you are a guide or sponsored then it's a real accomplishment that proves the haters wrong.

Charlotte is totally not what you were thinking as long as you keep your liberal politics to yourself.

Outside Magazine sneers at gapers doing it wrong on Whitney.

Then it pauses for a nano second of self-reflection.
