This is a little different than the standard “just put me on ignore” situation. Look at it this way: TGR forums are/will be much worse off without KQ’s contributions. I don’t believe you can say the same thing about timberridge, at all. And fwiw, your ‘apology’ came off as snarky. You’re really just a snark-source here IME.

I'm with you on TR, and it's not like his was the only critical post in that little exchange. In fact, I viewed his as the least critical of the ones in that series. His was more biting humor than criticism of her choice, and that's pretty much the coin of the realm around here. KQ is a big girl, and she's thick skinned. Just a little stressed out along with a few hundred other millions of us, so she took a break. She can take care of herself.

I dont think timberridge meant anything by making the joke. He just took the low hanging fruit and made a joke of it. I think kq was already upset by the peevious posters dig that somehow it was her responsibility yo look after the old guy that called out of the blue looking for a place to crash. I cant remember who that judgemental fuckwit was but it was totally uncalled for. KQ is being the responsible one looking after her mom and animals. If the old guy looking to crash was responsible he'd of had a plan.
