Rock Shox SID XC, 3.75" travel Question:
This is on an old bike that I own. It's also the only bike I own, at least currently. It's a 2000 Giant NRS XTC-1 with the Rock Shox SID rear shock. The negative pressure (damping) cylinder isn't holding air anymore so the ride is bouncy without the rebound damping. Is there any replacement shock for this model? Any methods for rebuilding the chamber? It would seem the seals are probably shot and maybe the easiest/cheapest fix is to rebuild it. Anyone else go through one of these before?
Thanks for any advice or places you can direct me to.

Giant used standard shock sizes until recently - XCish bikes will be 6.5" eye-to-eye and 1.5" stroke. Should be able to find a replacement pretty easily. (Measure the one you have to be sure.)
A rebuild would probably fix it but it may be hard to find replacement seals for SID at this point.

Thanks. Dimensionally, that sounds about right (but I will measure to be sure). If I replace it, do you have any recommendations for a good shock?
