I had a stupid grin on my face while watching that.

He's the best skier on earth.

One of the many cool things is what he does in spring conditions that seem rather ordinary. His big mountain footage out of helis is obviously nuts, but he does insane things on relatively ordinary days that most people would not even think about doing, even if they could. He simply sees things differently, which I guess is the byproduct of being that talented.

I mean, that opening couloir. How do you even look at that on a slushy spring (I would assume spring at least) in the Alps and think "I'm going to ski this" and then go about doing it?

One of the awesome things is that he continually raises the bar, and he doesn't need everything to be perfect to do it. He appears to just be skiing around on a normal spring day.

The way he makes some absolutely stupid things look so effortless is the most impressive thing, I think

I would still like to hear your review if you find the time.

I bought a pair recently and only have 1/2 day on them so far but would value input on this ski from other mere mortals.

I would also be curious about the review.

The most impressive part of the video might have been the moguls, what the actual fuck

I've seen a clip of hoji doing something very similar from about 15 or 20 years ago at Lake Louise.

I felt the same then as I do know... what the actual fuck?!

It looks more like video game skiing than real life. Truly amazing.

Anyone have access to that clip of hoji skiing moguls?

I've looked for it a few times and can never find it. Hoji skiing those moguls is burned into my memory as one of those holy shit moments of Uber style and fluidity.

So we're just ignoring how back seat he was while straight lining that mogul field?

I was just discussing with a coworker today how I hope my kids never reach that skill level (not that there's much risk of it, but you know what I mean) - almost everything he does in that 'pretty tight' clip he was either going to land or become paraplegic/dead.

Wrong thread for sure, possibly the wrong website too. This is a skiing forum.

It makes you want to bounce of everything you can find.
I am doing "bunny hops" and not launching to the moon.

I replaced my original Bentchetler 183 with ct5.0 183. i mounted -5cm from center with attack demo and feel i could go a lil bit fwd.
it is my tree skiing tool. and the minimal camber make them turn nice. not so sharp as the tappered ogbc but smoother.
i liked the reactiveness of the bc a lot. but once you have worked the turn radius out they are fine too.
on the piste they are the dullest boards i have ever ridden. so out of the forrest and straigtline only. can't be asked to turn.
but who cares a 120+ ski on the piste it needs to bring you to the lift as fast as possible : ) straight

the tip shape is great for those nose butter 360swerve moves. just oneeigty and press them in the snow and roundyougo.

i demoed them before and only skied it once in a wide steep chute mounted on the ct line and they were very surfy what i liked.

if you watch the swiss tree video and this and look how the ski reacts thats the better review.

don't like choped up with them but i know how to avoid that.
