I had a stupid grin on my face while watching that.
He's the best skier on earth.

One of the many cool things is what he does in spring conditions that seem rather ordinary. His big mountain footage out of helis is obviously nuts, but he does insane things on relatively ordinary days that most people would not even think about doing, even if they could. He simply sees things differently, which I guess is the byproduct of being that talented.
I mean, that opening couloir. How do you even look at that on a slushy spring (I would assume spring at least) in the Alps and think "I'm going to ski this" and then go about doing it?
One of the awesome things is that he continually raises the bar, and he doesn't need everything to be perfect to do it. He appears to just be skiing around on a normal spring day."Have you ever seen a monk get wildly fucked by a bunch of teenage girls?" "No" "Then forget the monastery."
"You ever hear of a little show called branded? Arthur Digby Sellers wrote 156 episodes. Not exactly a lightweight." Walter Sobcheck.
"I didn't have a grandfather on the board of some fancy college. Key word being was. Did he touch the Filipino exchange student? Did he not touch the Filipino exchange student? I don't know Brooke, I wasn't there."

The way he makes some absolutely stupid things look so effortless is the most impressive thing, I think

I would also be curious about the review.
The most impressive part of the video might have been the moguls, what the actual fuck

So we're just ignoring how back seat he was while straight lining that mogul field?
I was just discussing with a coworker today how I hope my kids never reach that skill level (not that there's much risk of it, but you know what I mean) - almost everything he does in that 'pretty tight' clip he was either going to land or become paraplegic/dead."...if you're not doing a double flip cork something, skiing spines in Haines, or doing double flip cork somethings off spines in Haines, you're pretty much just gaping."
