Dybvig is at least 6’5”. I know this bc I am 6’4 and he is taller than me . Must have been an absolutely phenomenal athlete to keep that lank under control at speeds and air times set by the Jeremy Blooms of the world. Not surprised he blew his knee into smithereens at the ‘02 games though.

Saw Holmes once at Squaw. He was strong-looking, but not exceptionally tall. Maybe 5’10”, 190 lb or so.

Not sure what you mean, as in most people being non-skiers? If skiers weren’t pushing our genetic limits, we wouldn’t be blowing out our knees skiing IMO.

Candide save was ridiculous, took me a couple views just to figure out which foot was doing what when! guy is total outlier as far as skills and creativity on the hill...and thanks for posting the Aksel Svindal feature, nice comparison of someone who's talents are being stretched in the steeps/freeride zone, guy also an unbelieveable ski talent in the oppo direction than Candide(who is still GOAT freeride,etc as far as I'm concerned...)
