My Swiss army pocket knife. It's a medium sized one (not the one with just a blade and a can opener, but not the one with a coffee grinder and a circular saw either).
I carry it all the time and when for some reason I forget it I realize just how much I use it.

Most Used: impact driver
Most useful: trailer for the lawn tractor
Most fun: tie between the propane torch and chainsaw

I like the propane torch too--for making creme brulee. (I originally used it for putting pine tar on my xc skis. That was a while back.)

They are a quality and well-designed tool. Originally used them for irrigation work but have found them to be useful for lots of tasks around the house. These are my favorite and most used ones https://www.amazon.com/KNIPEX-87-01-...+5+inch+pliers super-handy little tool.
If you are wanting a more refined tool that will not mark up what you are plying on, there are these: https://www.amazon.com/Knipex-Tools-...JQPJD40EFGMGGJLast edited by permnation; 05-06-2017 at 07:17 AM.

Candidates for worst tool I own--almost all my cordless drills--ryobi, makita, dewalt--the chucks slip on all of them. Maybe I'm just not strong enough to tighten them enough, but my very old makita 9V never slips.

Just one? No, I'm going to roll with this one a little. Good tools I work with a fair amount and wouldn't want to do without:
- Snap-on open/box end wrench set and socket ratchets
- skis, Blizzard Kabookies, Scarpa boots
- Milwaukie impact driver
- Swiss Army Knife
- Husky chain saw
- Vise (not Vice!) Grip pliers
- pulaski
I got lots of tools - my place is a dad house, I like to do my own work and I like to have the tools on hand. I have a Fiskars pole saw and loppers that are pretty good tools, but I just hate using them. I really love my snowblower, but I wish it was a Husky or Honda.
^ Nice. I should get one.

I also love my knipex pliers. I like them enough I have bought more to give as gifts to brighten my friends garage experiences.
Yesterday a helicoil kit saved my mother fucking ass! See 10yo car thread...sigless.

This week it is the 2 foot long, 1/2" breaker bar.
Damn, we're in a tight spot!

I made a pretty good living off the PC. This one's decent, but #1 son is toasting it with a fine array of 3d games.
I probably use my loppers around here the most on keeping the drive clear as well as an electric lawn mower for tennis court maintenance.
Then there's the flexons and the DPS Lotus 120s.Merde De Glace On the Freak When Ski
