El Colorado lift ticket cost $5,000 pesos today, about US$8, not bad for a good powder day.

Didn't happen. So I switched hemispheres for the 3rd time this year, and landed back in Calgary and Panorama BC, promptly got snowed on and quite cold. Norquay and Nakiski have already opened. Some scenic shots -

Anyone in the Bariloche / El Bolson area up for some late season turns, or know where I can rent or borrow some ski boots? I'm here for the next week or two, then headed to Chaiten. Hiked to summit of Piltriquitron yesterday and there seemed to be some decent lines still in.
