It’s weird, we have hummingbirds year round now. Sweetbippy had to get a heated feeder over here. She signed up for some hummingbird observation study too.

This just happened stepping off my porch. Neighbors attack dog off the leash. Came straight at me full steam clapped on my wrist and tried to pul me down punched him off dog retreated about 10 feet turned and came back at me got in a kick mid flight and a solid punch in the snout. The the owner kicked him. Then he stops like nothing happened
So I’m not reporting it unless I have to go to the hospital. I’m not
Told him that was over the top. I’m not calling anyone. Not gonna sue. But you need to fuckin deal with that?
Right thing right
But man I’m like one of the few who can deal with that. I’m trained
The fuckin dog could kill somebodyOwn your fail. ~Jer~

That dog needs a bullet next time.
If you were a little kid and the owner weren’t around it could’ve been really bad.
Dam.

Couple things One I was just going next door so was not carrying. But I often do. I would have killed it
I think the owner was more horrified than me. When it happened I was in complete disbelief. This doesn’t happen
I think the poor dog thought it was doing the right thing. Playing doing what it was taught “Poorly “
It probably would have been best if. But I would not have been ok.
I’m going to give the family some time to talk and come to the right heartbreaking decision
Give it some time. And god dam that dog bit me hard. I was in a real dog fight
I’m still processing it. FuckOwn your fail. ~Jer~

And as mentioned above, please demand proof of the dog's rabies vax status. You do not want to go through the treatment.

Dog has its current shots. Actually nice people except for their fetish with owning a trained attack dog. Like owning guns but don’t know how to use them.
It’s it has no business in this environment
I’m thinking wake up call. The dog accidentally went off. Now what
Telling on them. I just don’t roll like that
But to be honest. I don’t expect to see the dog off the leash anytime ever again
I would really like to see some sad faces and never see the dog again
And we all just get alongOwn your fail. ~Jer~

Not reporting that bite is being complicit. Fuckers need more than a wake up call.

Damn, I love dogs but that has to be reported. That dog ain't going to just change the behavior it's been taught for a while. You fought him off and he came back for more, so it wasn't just instinctual. It will really suck if that dog hurts someone else. Fuck that I'm not a tattletale bullshit.

I heard a gun shot near by a short while ago. I’m not sayin. But my mind is going there
What a sad thing
We will know
My arm is not throbbing as much
Little swollen. Not bleeding internally. Probably not much internal damage. I was worried
I understand the comments but I just believe in people doing what’s right. Until they prove otherwise. That seems to put me in the minority in some circlesOwn your fail. ~Jer~

MTT.
You can type all you want - you 've been through a traumatic event.
the dog needs to be put down.
the dog is a threat to the people it is living with
( there are reasons dogs 'flunk-out' of law enforcement training.
the idea of keeping a trained attack animal as a companion is worse than dangerous. )
give 'em three days. and then tell the neighbor
( if he wants to keep the dog, they need to move out. Out in to the country; no neighbors. )
That dog cannot stay in town
( that dog needs to be put down. )
( it is NOT like having a gun. it is keeping a dangerous animal.
( does Not require an operator. ) )
Unfortunately. tj

postscript -
Rabies observation is ( - I believe - ) ten days - [ comfirmed. ten days ]
without Observation the dog is not rabid at the end of observation ,,,
( without Observation, I would get injections for possible Rabies exposure. regardless of claims about the dog's vaccination status. )
while injections are not fun, dying of rabies is worse.
( years ago, only one person has survived rabies )
an attack dog is not a companion animal.
good luck. tjLast edited by skiJ; 12-28-2021 at 10:45 AM.
