    I have no doubt that fruit is good and fresh but sometimes roadside "farmers markets" get their produce at the same place Safeway does. Hit or miss on flavor and quality just like the big stores is my experience.

    LOL! I almost walked out back and took a picture of their orchard and fields. No...no... around here it's all local grown. These people's house and farm are all right there with the stand operating out of an outbuilding next to the house.

    This is rural north eastern Oregon. No one is buying fruit from AG and selling it out of their home.

    I wasn’t talking about that one specifically and obviously the selection is seasonally current. When a roadside stand has out of season fruit be skeptical. As far as pricing Whole Foods is a good value for fresh fruit.
