Yes. It was all but 2 feet tall and I wasn't sure it would survive the first winter.

U wanna hunt fine. Eat it and be happy, but holding the head up of something you shot is so fucking ghey. Not impressed. Take it on with a knife then I might be.

We have two mature Japanese Maples. One looks like your's only much bigger. The other is darker, almost a purple color. Beautiful trees. Always the last to bud in the spring, and always the last to drop their leaves. Are you pruning at all. Looks a little bushy.

And I agree with JS. Time to eat the barrel, Ernest.

No, but good to know next time I’m partying in NH

The mrs was showing me the vodka they were taste-testing at the liquor store. Always worth trying the support the local brand. Hopefully it’s good stuff...!

I try not to prune it too much but it's getting the point I'll have to.
You're right about it being the last to drop it leaves but this year more so than ever. All the other trees are bare. I hope she lives a long time. Cheers

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

We talked about Mohonk next time to climb.
I’ve never done outdoor climbing, so that’s gonna be interesting.
