    That’s about average.
If you go to upper east, monthly parking is about $1,200.
Easily rent or mortgage in cheaper state.

    Mind boggling.

Just talked to a friend recently said elementary schools in Manhattan cost over $45k annually.

There are handful of public schools.
You’ll be surprise how many people live in the projects in Manhattan.
(there are bunch right around Lincoln Center)
Also new developments rent out certain percentage of units for low income tenants (who make less than $25K which I don’t know how that’s possible to live in NYC) about $600-800 mainly for tax purposes.
Those tenants normally have no access to amenities and use different entrance than people who pay $4,500 a month for studio.

Those are Bergdorf Goodman windows and the creators been David Hoey who’s the senior director for visual presentation and Linda Fargo who’s the store’s Vice President.
They published 300 page visual book “Windows at Bergdorf Goodman” 2012.

Thanks, I didn’t know who designed them this year. My favorite was when Wes Anderson lent his sets from Fantastic Mr Fox.

    I believe that was 2009.
I moved to New York 2009, so I don't have much archive before then.

I love Bergdorf Goodman's holiday windows.
    It's just visually so stunning.
I would go each year late at night to avoid crowds and take time enjoy them.

Here are some from previous years.
