Many of my Indian neighbors have their houses covered in colorful lights from Diwali and just leave them up until January.
My house the Halloween lights come down Nov 1st, Xmas lights go up 11/26.

It's the same lights every year in that tree so I'm guessing they only had to do it once. They're pretty cool white globes. The phone camera doesn't do it justice.
